The Basic Information which should be available in a bug report

  • What you did
  • What you wanted to happen
  • What actually happened

Those are three basic elements of each bug report which we need to know about.

Issue Tracker / Bug List

Always search the bug list (issue tracker) if its already.

What if you don't understand an error message

Don't report an error message if you don't understand it. Use instead the Discussion List which is available.

Don't report bugs for older versions

we work interactively therefore we do not have the resources to maintain older version. Consider to upgrade your system to the newest available version. Since indeXus.Net Shared Cache is using custom providers the interface between your software and indeXus.Net Shared Cache does not change that often.
